Robbinsdale Parks

The Robbinsdale Parks Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the City's fourteen parks totaling 110 acres, park development, improvement projects and operations. Park development and acquisition funding is provided through the City's general fund, various grants and donations from civic and non-profit community groups.   • Great Watershed Clean Up and Arbor Day: The City Council proclaimed Saturday, April 27 as the Great Watershed Clean Up Day and Arbor Day.Thanks go to all the participants for assisting with the tree planting and cleaning our parks, trails and watershed!

  • Adopt-a-Park  Adopt-a-Park is a public service program for volunteers to pick up litter and help keep Robbinsdale’s parks clean. It enables citizens to provide a meaningful contribution to a cleaner environment. Removing litter is expensive and citizens lending a hand to keep parks clean will help the City reduce maintenance costs.   • Robbinsdale Community Gyms & Fitness  The Fitness Center facility includes a large gymnasium and an extensive exercise room. Family and individual membership are available for purchase, as well as daily fees.  The gyms and fitness center was recently renovated and new fitness equipment has been installed.   • Neighborhood Splash Pad at Manor Park has opened for the season. Daily hours for the water are 10 am to 8 pm. May be periodically turned off for maintenance.
  • Robbinsdale Garden Plots at Mielke Park  The City offers residents the opportunity to rent a 20 x 20 ft. space for personal gardening on an annual basis.  Information for new Gardeners,  Meilke Park Garden Rules and Garden Application- for new gardeners

  • Field and Park Facilities  Park facilities can be reserved by individuals. By City Ordinance, any group of 25 or more must have a permit to use our parks. For information on and the application form for renting a picnic shelter or park building please click here. For information on and the application for renting a field or open space please click here..Please note, all requests must be made at least 7 business days in advance. If you are considering having any "entertainment" features such as tents, staging, inflatables, dunk tanks, etc. you will need to submit form at least 14 business days in advance. There are additional requirements that will need to be met. If you are seeking multiple dates, you should contact Recreation Services for more information.
