A Robbinsdale Recreation Update: What’s Happening in November

Thanks for being an e-subscriber! As October is starting to wrap up, thanks again go out to all the volunteer coaches for completing a successful although wet season of Flag Football & Soccer! We are just over halfway through October which means it’s time to start looking forward to next month’s activities!

November has plenty of programs to choose from for all ages. Just because the weather is turning cold does not mean the fun has to stop! Special preschool programs this month in areas of art, science and sports include Wonders of Nature, Turkey Time, Amazing Athletes & Tiny Tots Soo Bahk Do.

Youth have loads of exciting things to do this November with Revolutionary Sports Soccer & Volleyball starting up (indoors), Winter Warm-Up Basketball, & some fun no school day activities!

Parents/adults & children have a number of programs they can do together. Most popular this November is the annual Daddy Daughter Princess Ball-only a few spots remain, so if interested, make sure you register today! The whole family can enjoy participating in a free Walk When the Moon is Full on November 12. Don’t be disappointed-this is also your last chance to purchase discounted Disney on Ice December tickets!

For adults: Dan Hartman will lead a talk on the Armistice Day Storm of 1940 for Donut Make You Wonder and Let’s Go To The Movies! will be featuring Casablanca & The Man Who Invented Christmas. Additional adult programs include Get Artsy-Wine & Paint pARTy, Baby Boomers & Beyond Fitness Class, Jazzercise, Roving Minds, & our Book Discussion Group.

Remember to get out and enjoy the fall weather in our parks or come inside the Robbinsdale Community Gyms & Fitness Center for open gym times or using the great fitness center! Look for Black Friday/Cyber Monday Deals!
More information is available on the City website. Check out the recreation page for deadlines & additional programs for fall. You can also stay up-to-date by liking the Robbinsdale Recreation Facebook page.
