The Robbinsdale Parks Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the City's fourteen parks totaling 110 acres, park development, improvement projects and operations. Park development and acquisition funding is provided through the City's general fund, various grants and donations from civic and non-profit community groups. Adopt-a-Park Adopt-a-Park is a public service program for volunteers to pick up litter and help keep Robbinsdale’s parks clean. It enables citizens to provide a meaningful contribution to a cleaner environment. Removing litter is expensive and citizens lending a hand to keep parks clean will help the City reduce maintenance costs. Robbinsdale community groups and businesses may “Adopt a Park” by contacting the City. For more details on how the program please click here. - Robbinsdale Community Gyms & Fitness The Fitness Center facility includes a large gymnasium and an extensive exercise room. Family and individual membership are available for purchase, as well as daily fees. The gyms and fitness center was recently renovated and new fitness equipment has been installed. Robbinsdale Garden Plots at Mielke Park The City offers residents the opportunity to rent a 20 x 20 ft. space for personal gardening on an annual basis. For more information click on: .2018 Garden Rules.
Field and Park Facilities Reservation request form Park facilities can be reserved by individuals. This form includes the fees and policies. Please review and complete this form and submit with payment to Recreation Services. All requests must be made at least 7 business days in advance. If you are considering having any "entertainment" features such as tents, staging, inflatables, dunk tanks, etc. you will need to submit form at least 21 business days in advance and there are additional requirements that will need to be met. If you are seeking multiple dates, you should contact Recreation Services for more information.
