Metro Drug Task Force is a collaborative effort among the following Cities:

The Task Force also has a Deputy from the
Hennepin County Sheriffs Office Narcotics Unit assigned as liaison officer.
The Northwest Metro Drug Task Force
is dedicated to resolving narcotics-related complaints by utilizing
information it receives from citizens, information cultivated by
Police Officers,
and information obtained through various investigation techniques. The Drug Task
Force also receives information regarding other criminal activities
(i.e. robberies, burglaries, assaults, etc.). The Task force
may investigate the information, or forward it on to the appropriate agency. The Northwest Metro Drug Task
Force works with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit, Minneapolis Narcotics
Unit, and other Local, State and Federal Law Enforcement Agencies.
Citizens are encouraged to provide
information regarding suspicious activity, whether it is narcotics-related or not. When providing information, citizens are encouraged to provide
a contact number where they can be reached in the event further
information is needed by the Investigator. All complainant
information is held confidential and every attempt is made to
keep all complaints anonymous. The safety of citizens is of highest priority. Numerous arrests have been
made based on information received from
citizens.
Any information
regarding suspected narcotics activity can be forwarded to the
Northwest Metro Drug Task Force by calling the Robbinsdale Police
Department at (763) 531-1220. The information will be taken
or the caller will be
transferred to the voicemail of the Drug Task Force Investigator.
