Burglary Suspect
Apprehended
The Robbinsdale Police
Department responded to a suspicious activity report on the 3900
block of Crystal Lake Blvd on Tuesday, 11/8/11, at approximately
9:14 AM. The caller was a vigilant resident who reported seeing an
unknown individual on a neighbor’s property and was able to provide
a physical and clothing description of the suspect. With this
information, officers were able to locate and apprehend the
individual while the suspect was attempting to break into the
residence. The suspect was later transported to the Hennepin County
Jail with formal charges pending.
As a general reminder,
we depend upon the observations and willingness of our residents to
call 911 anytime they see something suspicious or have information
we would find valuable. Your help is critical to our success.
Working together, we can keep Robbinsdale a safe place to live, work
and visit.
This incident provides
another opportunity for us to disseminate information through our
Crime Alert notification system to keep our residents informed on
recent criminal activity and our response to it.
Residents who may
witness an incident are encouraged to observe the height, hair
color, race, age, gender, clothing description, vehicle description,
and direction of travel of any suspects.
