Crime Alert- July 10,
2009
Between 7/2/2009 and 7/10/2009 between the hours of 8:00 PM and 8:00
AM multiple motor vehicles have been entered and property stolen
from these vehicles on the 2700-3100 blocks of Parkview Blvd,
3600-3900 blocks of Halifax Ave N, 2600-2700 block of Meridian, 3800
block of Noble Ave N, 4300 block of Grimes Ave N, 5000 block of 42
1/2 Ave N, and the 3700 block of 26 1/2 Ave N.
In many of these incidents the vehicles have been unlocked and
located on either the street or driveway of a residence. Property
stolen from the vehicles has included electronic items, credit
cards, cash, and cellular phones.
Anyone with possible information on these incidents is asked to
contact the Robbinsdale Police Department at 763-531-1220.
Crime Tips:
-If you notice anyone lurking in your neighborhood that does not
belong-call 911!
-Remember to remove all valuables from your vehicle and make sure to
lock car doors.
-Be a good witness! Try to observe height, hair, eye color, clothing
descriptions, vehicle descriptions, and direction of travel. Write
down everything immediately after an incident occurs and call
police.
-Join a neighborhood watch group. Get to know your neighbors.
