Re: Recent Residential Burglaries

Since August 18th, the Robbinsdale Police Department has seen an increase in residential burglaries that have been occurring both during the day and evening hours. In some of these incidents, the suspects are making forced entry inside homes through unlocked windows by cutting or removing window screens. In other cases, the suspects have gained entry by forcibly removing window air conditioner units. After making entry, the suspects have been removing electronics (televisions, laptop computers, etc) as well as cash and jewelry. The southern part of Robbinsdale (the area primarily to the south of North Memorial Medical Center) has been the area most affected by these recent burglaries.

Possible Suspect Information

Witnesses observed juvenile black males on bicycles present in the immediate area where some of these incidents have occurred. Additionally, witnesses observed a maroon Cadillac sedan, occupied by three to four black males, in the area of the incidents.
