Thank you for all the discussion about the apartment proposals. Both proposals are for market rate, multi-family with amenities. Neither is limited to seniors. Rental rates would not be subsidized. Each would have an underground parking space for each bedroom unit and bicycle parking. The apartment by citizens bank, which will be discussed at the planning commission at city hall on Thursday, October 26 at 7 pm, includes a dog park, roof top patio lounge, balconies. It would have a mix of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, studios. Rents would be higher than similarly sized units anywhere in Robbinsdale because of the extras included. The other concept for the 36th and County Road 81 corner would also have extra amenities including a swimming pool. There are no floor plans or many details yet because it is in the very early planning stage.

Why are announcements like the demolition of the Legion for more apartments being made in social media groups before the city releases a statement through their own page? Those who are not in these groups do not have access to this information.
