Hometown Walk Re-naming Contest
We need your help!  The Robbinsdale Chamber of Commerce is looking for some creative ideas in an effort to rename the  Hometown Walk. The plan is to give this successful fall event a new name which more closely represents the event.  In the past some chamber members have heard comments such as “How far do I have to walk during this event?”  While guests of the event do “walk” up and down West Broadway during the night, it has been confused because of the name with a walk or run for exercise!  The intent of the event is to give Robbinsdale residents the opportunity to meet local businesses and organizations in an informal setting.  Residents can pick up brochures, give-away items, and win prizes.  Other highlights of the event include a performance by the Robbinsdale City Band, door prize drawings, and a grand prize television drawing.  We have assembled a great prize package for the winning idea.  Contest registration forms will be given to area schools and available at chamber member businesses in the next few weeks.
