Recreation Brochure- Residents should be receiving their Recreation Brochure as an insert in the quarterly City Newsletter. If you do not receive a brochure, please call the Robbinsdale Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department at 763-531-1278 and one can be mailed to you or click here: Recreation Program Brochure.   Adobe Reader is required to view the Robbinsdale Brochure and can obtained from Adobe.com. Use Adobe Reader Version 4.0 or higher for the best results. They may take 3 to 5 minutes to download depending on the speed of your internet connection. Walk Robbinsdale Brochures-Walking routes have been mapped out using sidewalks and trails in Robbinsdale. Additional routes will be added. Click here for our current brochure.

Join the Step To It Challenge! -Robbinsdale is taking part in the Hennepin County Step To It Challenge. Other cities include Brooklyn Park, Crystal and Golden Valley. We are challenged to "out walk" residents of the other cities. To get more details and to register, please log in at www.steptoit.org/communities.html The Challenge will be for 4 weeks, beginning May 16th.

Robbinsdale Community Center & Fitness Center-3730 Toledo Ave N.  Hours listed are for when school is in session.       Mondays thru Fridays: 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Saturdays: 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and Sundays, Noon to 5:00 pm. Fees are based on residency and age. Memberships also available. Gym schedule

Jazzercise -Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays-5:50 pm start time and Saturdays, 9:30 am-Ongoing. Unique combinations of effective exercise, jazz dance movements and popular music! Registration is taken at the class. Start anytime! There is a one time only Joining Fee of $25. Fees are $12.00 per time or $33.00 monthly with electronic transfer from checking or charge card or $84.00 per 2 months. Classes held at the Robbinsdale Community Gym, 3730 Toledo Avenue North bring your water bottle, mat and enthusiasm!

Robbinsdale City Band-Do you enjoy playing a band instrument? Then come join the Robbinsdale Band!   Practices are held on Thursdays. The Band is open to all men and women with musical talent and interest.  For more information about the Band, please call the Robbinsdale Parks and Recreation office at 763-531-1278.

Robbin Gallery & Historical Museum-Check out the art gallery's current show on displayed at the Historical Library Building, 4915 42nd Ave N. The Gallery features monthly shows featuring local artists and is open Tuesday thru Thursday from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm and Friday & Saturday from noon to 4 pm. Wise Eyes is current show featuring work from Eyes 4 trhe Arts including Jaueline Sutliff. The Historical Museum is open to the public on Fridays, 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Saturdays, 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.features rotating displays. 

Whiz Bang Days-Volunteers are needed! Please consider helping plan the 2008 Whiz Bang Days celebration. The Whiz Bang Days Committee meets the third Monday evening of each month. For a parade application please click here. For parade route, click here. The Dates for 2008 are July 10-13. Parade and Fireworks are on Sunday, July 13.

The 2007-2008 Junior Ambassadors are: Isabelle Edwards, Michela Hogan, Rachel Turnquist and Briana Leionhardt.

The 2007-2008 Miss Robbinsdale is Meghan Andrysk. Princesses are Lindsay Angove and Tiffany Heinz.
