Practical Information for Residents? Check out the FAQs

Small town tradition survives in Robbinsdale's typical main street businesses and family-friendly atmosphere. Affordable, quality, single family homes are the predominant land use. Abutting the northwest corner of Minneapolis, the City provides a quiet haven from the bustle of city life. A regional medical center, convenient shopping, lake vistas, a variety of recreation activities, all only 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Or stay in town and Celebrate Whiz Bang Days the second weekend in July.

March Utility Bill Information

The March utility bill reflects the usage in January and February and therefore are the first bills with 2015 rates. Total Residential bills were anticipated to increase by 4.7% (on average) when the city council reviewed changes in December. Individual sanitary sewer charges are based annually on the water use in January/February when water use matches water going down the drains (not summer when many water outside.)

In addition,
the March billing cycle included 11 additional days compared to previous billing. The meters were read on December 22nd earlier than usual due to the holidays. For detailed information on 2015 utility rates as approved by City Council at their December 2, 2014 meeting click here.

If you have questions about your utility bill, something that doesn't look right, call 763-531-1211 and be sure to include your address and phone number or email address in a message if you get voicemail.
