Practical Information for Residents? Check out the FAQs

Small town tradition survives in Robbinsdale's typical main street businesses and family-friendly atmosphere. Affordable, quality, single family homes are the predominant land use. Abutting the northwest corner of Minneapolis, the City provides a quiet haven from the bustle of city life. A regional medical center, convenient shopping, lake vistas, a variety of recreation activities, all only 15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Or stay in town and Celebrate Whiz Bang Days the second weekend in July.

Sump Pump Water should NOT go into Sink Drains
Important: Sump pump and wet basement water should not be put into inside drains. Too much storm water mixed with the normal laundry/sink/toilet water can overwhelm the system and cause backups. Sump Pumps are required to be pumped outside of the house onto the yard and storm sewer sytem. More details coming in the July utility bills.

High Water = No Wake
With heavy rain the lake elevation gets high with all the storm sewers emptying into the lakes and even small waves can impact private property.   Be sure to read and observe the slow, no-wake regulation on City Lakes.
