Notice of Second Reading of Ordinances 19-04, 19-05, 19-06 & 19-07

Ordinances will be sent via E-notification following the first reading.

Ordinance 19-04 - AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE FEE SCHEDULE CITY CODE APPENDIX B, ATTACHMENT F PARK, COMMUNITY GYMS AND FITNESS CENTER FACILITIES– The purpose of this ordinance is to update the fee schedule for park and recreation facilities.

Second reading will be at the City Council meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Ordinance 19-05 -AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 515.01, SUBD. 3 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW FOOD TRUCKS AS AN ACCESSORY USE BY PERMIT IN AREAS OF MULTIPLE FAMILY HOUSING, PRIVATE AND PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, COLLEGES, OR UNIVERSITIES, MUSEUMS AND RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS.- The amendment will to allow the occasional permitting of food trucks for special events at schools, churches and even apartment buildings.  

Second reading will be at the City Council meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Ordinance 19-06 -AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO INCLUDE THE TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT OVERLAY DISTRICT, INCLUDING AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP,  AND UPDATING THE SITE DEVELOPMENT AND BUILDING STANDARDS FOR THE DD-1, DD-2 DISTRICTS IN THE DOWNTOWN AREA, AND AMENDING THE BUILDING REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO OPEN SPACE REQUIREMENTS IN THE R-B ZONING DISTRICT - The purpose of the ordinance is to create a Transit Oriented Development Overlay District which promotes pedestrian building orientation, building materials and height standards in the downtown area and West Broadway corridor extending south to 36th Ave. N and to modify the building requirements related to open space in the R-B zoning district.

Second reading will be at the City Council meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Ordinance 19-07 - AN INTERIM ORDINANCE REGARDING THE REGULATION OF TOBACCO RETAILERS WITHIN THE CITY OF ROBBINSDALE, ADOPTED PURSUANT TO MINN. STAT. § 462.355, SUBD. 4 - The purpose of this ordinance is to authorize a study related to tobacco and tobacco-related device sales within the City and to impose a moratorium on the issuance of any permits, licenses, or other approvals related thereto for a period of one year or until such time as the City Council repeals the interim ordinance, whichever shall come first.
